Kalem - Floor Lamp
Kalem - Floor Lamp
Named for the Serbian word meaning 'coil'—a tribute to Nikola Tesla's revolutionary vision—the Kalem floor lamp embodies the elegant interplay between form and energy. Like Tesla's own coils that transformed invisible forces into radiant light, this luminaire channels warmth and illumination through layers of hand-crafted glass and burnished copper.
The tiered glass shade captures and refracts light in gentle waves, creating an ambient glow reminiscent of candlelight filtered through morning mist. A slender brass stem rises with quiet confidence from a rich wooden base, marrying Scandinavian restraint with the timeless warmth of natural materials. Each element—wood, glass, copper—works in harmony, much like the universal frequencies Tesla believed connected all things.
